Not everyone is fortunate enough to have an actual dining room, and therefore many have to think creatively when the kitchen table and chairs is to be placed – not least when guests are invited to dinner. We have found smart solutions on how to make room for diners. If you have small kitchen table, you may be able to accommodate a custom-made seating area. A bench with a relatively narrow seat and an equally narrow table can save a lot of space as shown here.
Choose bench, chairs and table in the same colors as your kitchen elements for a coherent, tidy expression. If you also have the opportunity to place the dining arrangement at a window, you can even create an illusion of spaciousness. Transparent dining chairs provide a visually tidy look, giving a sense of space in a compact room.
If they can even be stacked, they are also easy to store when not in use. Then the dining table can instead function as an extra workplace. If there is still no room for a rectangular dining table – in the kitchen below, it would, for example, block the entrance to the room – then consider one of a kind.
